Today was a payback day! One of those days when, as a parent you sit back and can see that all the struggles are worth it. Between the inspiring sessions of General Conference, David was able to ordain Spencer to the office of a Deacon in the Aaronic Priesthood and to give his sweet little baby, Joanna, a baby blessing (kind of like a christening, but it's not a baptism). What beautiful blessing he gave them both as a worthy Priesthood holder. I'm proud of David and Sariah for the wonderful way they are raising their children in the Gospel. During Spencer's blessing I could not help but think back to the day he was born and was such a sick little baby. At times it was hard to think to this future day. Spencer is such an inspiration with his caring attitude towards others. I know he has a bright future as does little Joanna.

It's been nice to be in Utah and visit with all our family that are here. We are ready to hit the road again tomorrow and head East.
