Day Tweny-Six, a day of rest.

We enjoyed church this morning in the Sandusky Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  The people were extremely friendly and we enjoyed the meetings.  However, we did not meet anyone we know, or anyone that knew someone we know, for that matter.

After lunch, we went for a Sunday drive and found this cool State Park, Magee Marsh Wildlife Area.

You have to look hard sometimes to find the wildlife.

Here is a little Northern Canadian Goose family.  Can you see the little ones??

Here, they are walking on the path in front of us.

I like how the mommy and daddy geese always seemed to have the babies between them.

The little goslings are super cute close up!!

Here they are on the grass.  They don't seem to be very old.

We found this great boardwalk that went around the marsh.  Birds were everywhere.

This bird is a little woodcock. It must be important.  There were several people with big fancy schmancy cameras taking this bird's picture.

He was hard to find but people were happy to point him out and let me get a shot!!

It was very cold and windy and Evan sped ahead to get back to the car!!

But, I took my time and kept snapping pictures!!

And there were even some flowering trees along the path.

This just made me laugh, especially in light of recent news. Anyway, this a good kind of "happy hooker"!!

The vapor cloud in the background is from the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant. Mike has heard a lot about this plant, but will not bore you with the details.
